Welcome to the First Mile Foundation

Our mission is to support those dealing with a diagnosis of cancer while building awareness and prevention through education and research.

The First Mile Foundation was established in the fall of 2003 in honor of the founder's father, William Kane, Jr., and the many others affected by cancer each year. The goal of the Foundation is to provide financial support to families and individuals in order to alleviate the added everyday stresses associated with cancer. We seek to be an educational resource and provide medical research to help people lower their risk of cancer.
